Dogs are incredible.
Many of us own them ourselves or have people in our lives that do.
But as incredible as I and you may know them to be, but there are still over 400,000 dogs bite reports on children under 12, every year due to lack of adult education & supervision.
Through live dog demonstrations, interactive activities, and age-appropriate safety lessons to;
as well as grow their
benefiting both animals and people alike. At the conclusion of every presentation, students have the opportunity to turn what they have learned into a personal commitment with the pledge.
Dogs communicate through body language, personal space, and behavior rather than words.
By learning to recognize these signals, children strengthen important social-emotional skills such as empathy, observation, patience, self-control, and respect for boundaries.
These lessons help children navigate interactions not only with dogs, but also with people, by encouraging them to consider how others may be feeling and respond thoughtfully in social situations.
