Wagging with Wisdom's Day School is a thoughtfully designed learning environment where structure, routine, and individualized attention come together to help dogs thrive with consistent structured socializing.
Our day school is built on consistency and purpose. Each day follows a carefully planned schedule that balances structured training sessions, supervised social opportunities, enrichment activities, and appropriate rest. Maintaining a predictable routine helps dogs feel secure, confident, and ready to both learn and socialize respectfully.
To ensure a safe and productive environment, all dogs are pre-approved prior to Day-School entry through a completed evaluation and/or previous training with me. This allows every participant to join with a clear understanding of expectations and foundational skills, creating a cohesive group dynamic that supports continued growth.
Class sizes are intentionally kept small to provide meaningful supervision and personalized guidance. With limited enrollment, each dog receives focused attention while still benefiting from controlled social exposure and real-world learning experiences.
Wagging with Wisdom's Day School is more than just a place for your dog to spend the day while you are away, it’s a structured educational experience designed to reinforce skills, build confidence, and strengthen reliability in a carefully managed, supportive setting.
OVERNIGHT BOARDING
*ESTABLISHED CLIENTS ONLY*
Unlike facilities and pet sitters who offer overnight and day boarding services to a surplus of dogs at one time, I choose to limit space in exchange for a better experience. This allows me to not only give your dog everything they would normally have at home, but more!
Along with their typical day-to-day activities and staying in a true home environment, your dog will engage in daily play and training tailored to their individual needs throughout their stay. As well as have endless opportunities to socialize in a safe, structured environment.
You can look forward to receiving a report card & pictures at the end of your dog's stay or each two week period, getting a feel for their vacation away from home.

Similar to Day School only training clients of Wagging with Wisdom have access to this service. All dogs must have basic crate and potty training unless specifically discussed beforehand.

BOARD & TRAINS
What is a "Board & Train" and is it right for you?
The hard truth about dog training is that it takes incredible amounts of time, patience, experience, and consistency.
It takes humans and animals alike 3-4 weeks to develop long term habits, and when life gets in the way this can be a difficult regimen to follow and receive the results you desire. While completing a board and train program, your dog will come live with me full time during the duration of their training for a round the clock immersive behavior modification experience.
In order to qualify for a Board & Train you must either already be an established client or first schedule an initial “Evaluation” lesson to discuss the best training plan for you and your dog.
Based on both your desires and your dog’s individual needs, board and train plans are built on a case by case basis. This helps ensure you and your companion get the most out of this experience. After both an Evaluation has been completed and Board & Train plan established, your dog will be assigned a drop off date and time to begin their (#) week Board & Train stay and follow-up private lessons will be scheduled in advance

Along with typical obedience skills, behaviors that can be targeted during a Board & Train stay include;
- Leash Communication, from loose leash walks to controlled greetings downtown, your companion will learn that the leash is so much more than just a tether to keep them from running off.
- Recall, your dog will learn how to recall back to you from extended distances and away from distractions in a plethora of environments
- Exposure & Confidence Building, we cannot expect animals to perform tasks or act “appropriately” in environments or situations they have little experience in. Socialization is a word routinely thrown around in the dog industry yet few delve into its true meaning. Throughout their program, your dog will have in-depth experiences in the real world to prepare them for the interactions adventures you wish to pursue together.
- Impulse & Boundary Control, dogs are impulsive creatures, lunging on leash toward critters, bursting through doorways, stealing food, jumping, barking, and so much more. Your companion will learn the power of permission and how to seek approval for desires and respect clear boundaries.
- Composure, ever wanted to bring your dog to lunch with friends and have them lay politely under the table? Getting a dog to relax in highly stimulating environments is no easy task. Whether in public or just typical home chaos, your dog will learn how to keep their cool even when others aren’t.
- Place, your dog will learn how to locate, board, and remain on a bed or place cot for any desired amount of time among a plethora of distractions.
- Crate, your dog will learn how to locate, enter, and remain composed in their kennel until released
- Stay, rely on your dog’s ability to remain in place when asked in a range of environments both inside and out
- Resource Guarding
- Boundary Aggression (leash, car, fence, etc.)
- Transportation Manners (pacing, whining, barking in the car, etc.)

What is included?
Every Board & Train program includes a select number of private lessons that are scheduled and completed promptly after program completion to set you and your companion up for long term success!
**I always value quality over quantity with training, the most important skills and behaviors are always the first to be targeted. We mustn’t let our expectations get the best of us, forcing our pets into positive experiences, negatively. You can be assured that your companion will be taught and introduced to new experiences with patience and care throughout the entirety of their stay.
Training tool and equipment upgrades are not included in the cost of Board & Train packages but may be recommended depending on necessity.

The four week program is designed to be more in depth for dogs already presenting behavior problems such as reactivity, fear, aggression, flight risks, and/or lack of socialization.

- 4 private lessons with owner
